 Subject: '96 Starting Problem

Hopefully someone can confirm my starter is going out. Sometimes it takes 5 - 10 times to start the truck. All I get sometimes is just a "click". The battery has been checked and is perfect. Is this a common symptom before it goes?

Yes that is common when either is going bad
