 Subject: idles all day but will not stay running!

92 3.9 v6 dakota will idle forever but when you put it in gear and drive it it act's like it is running out of gas and i put it in N and then it dies. but it will start right back up. please help!!! what is wrong? i appreciate any help that anyone can give me. thank you.

Might want to check the speed sensor on the tranny

Yeah, check the fuel filter. Sounds clogged to me! Last car I had with a bad clogged filter did just about that. As long as it idled it was fine, touch the gas and it died.
