Message: What can I expect if I supercharge my V6? Will this engine handle being supercharged? Not looking for high end, want 1/4 mile runs.

Message: Yes, the 3.9 will handle being supercharged. There are several V8 superchargers that, will little modification, will bolt on. The supercharger that I am looking at is the Eaton M112. Might want to check that out.

Message:
I read some posts on here saying that it wasn't worth the supercharging because it was still pretty slow. For example, it wasn't even as fast as a stock RT. I wanted to invest in one also until after I read those negative posts.. Plus, I dont think its worth the added power-to-cost ratio.

Message: Yea, I've seen to many results of a 6 with a supercharger being around 16.1 at the fastest. For all the trouble of setting it up and at least $2500 for all the parts you need I'm buying a project muscle car instead.

Message: i have heard of several supercharged V6 times...
supercharger only was like a 16.1
supercharger with nitrous, i saw a couple 14.5's.
i had one and it was too embarrassing to go to the track with. 100 shot alone netted me 13.5's.
