will it work well if i do it as my first mod or should i do intake?

im kind of cash deprived so ive scrapped up bout $200 and im ready to buy something

about intense intakes they use the factory airhat right?

will that hold up well? or should i but a different intake?

Dakkid - here you go -

I'd consider a better than factory air intake first, as the factory one would hinder the performance increase of a larger throttle body.

The intense performance intakes do use the factory airhat for the standard 4.7L and the V6/5.2L/5.9L, but not on the 4.7L "Z-tube".

Yes, the factory airbox will hold up but really do recommend that you change it out to a better performing cold air intake.

The Fastman TB is the same one we offer (we are a distributor for Fastman). Of course the modified TB's are better as they don't have the torque-step in them and have quite a few performance enhancements.
