Message: I feel your pain. You can get all those items from summit or jegs listed above. Might want to take the 750 shot down a few notches to maybe 100 tops though. As someone who has put a lot of buck into the truck to make it faster, you are seriously better off to go find a nice b-body to make fast. Or drop a 360 in the truck. Working on the 3.9 and dumping mega bucks into it is a waste of time to me now.

Message: yeah thats true, ive been thinkin about that but i figure ill wait till i blow this one up and get my race car finished. im out on the b body, id rather have a camaro, firebird or mustang to fool with. jegs or summit doesnt have a gear for the 8.25, they got the powertrax posi unit but no gear unless its just not in the catalog, plus u have to have that tool to spread the rear end housing apart to change the gear also. hell if i put the spray on my turd id be usin the schit all the time and having to fill the bottle. im bettin the way my truck runs a converter would help the most i mean it doesnt even start to do anything till 3000 rpm. is there different trannys on the 97 3.9 dak ? i figured they all would be the same except maybe for a 4x4... which i dont have. thanks for all the help and info

Message: You need to call Jegs or Summit if you don't see it in the catalog or website. There are tons of parts they don't list. Just tell them what brand and item they will find it I do that all the time. Sometimes if you have a mfr's part number you can enter it and it will show up under a special search but not directly. Kinda weird but it works.
