I have a 98 dakota 3.9, ive had a flowmaster 40 series muffler on for a while now, it sounds beautiful at idle and when you lightly press on the throttle, but when you accelarate shifting into second and 3 it sounds kinda ricy and i dont want that. I know its a v6 but what muffler can i find that isnt as loud and more of a v8 deep tone instead of this jap crap sounding ****. I wish it would sound like it does at idle while excelerating. someone help me out im looking for a different muffler to put on.

you are not going to get deep without getting loud, keeping a v6
from sounding like rice isn't easy if you want quieter i
recommend dynomax super turbo from jegs.com for $42 i just
dumped my flowmaster for something better and i got it
you can only get your idle to sound good and somewhat like an
8, but you will never get a 6 to sound as good as an 8 regardless
of muffler type
