Anyone have any experience installing the 1.7 roller rockers, lookin gto do the upgrade and was wondering where to get them, and how much work was involved, thanks for any help.

I dont have experience yet, but i can tell you that you can find the roller rockers at KRC Performance, thats where i am going to buy mine very soon.

1.7 ratio rockers will show improvement fromm approx 2000rpm up.
Crower are stanliss steel adjustable 380.00 I think.
I'm running harland sharp aluminum roller rockers no adjustment 280.00

Talked to FASTMAN friday about TB asked about Harland sharp vs the viper 1.7 rockers he said go with Harland sharp because in his opinion the viper rockers are not the way to go

the crowers are forged steel. They will last forever. And the weight of them is where it matters and not at the tip (less weight on the valvetrain).

Having adjustable rockers is not that big of a deal.. infact, it could help you in the long run. Just think if you ever changed your camshaft out, had to have your heads milled or any of the like. Adjusting rockers is just about the easiest thing you can do.

Put piston at TDC
install rocker
tighten adjusting nut till you get the slack out of the pushrod
at 1/2 to 3/4 turn more with your wrench
tigthen adjusting nut locker.

just so you know, i put over 30K on my crowers and then sold them. When i took them off, they looked just like the day i put them in.

6.6 Lt. Big Block, 727 TF shift kit, 452 heads, edelbrock 750 cfm, .513/.513 284/300 crower cam, comp cams springs, comp cams pushrods, 1.5 roller rockers, dp intake, mopar ignition, mopar windage tray, dual exhaust w/ 40 series flowmasters, 4.10 gears, coilover drag suspension, approx, 3500 lbs
