Subject: Question! IP: Logged
Message: I have a 98 dakota 3.9l magnum and I have noticed that my cat converter is clogged and i was woundering if I take it off if my engine light will come on? and can I just go buy a 2 foot long exhaulst piple and clamp it on were the converter was at? and how hard would it be to cut the cat off with just an hack saw?

Message: go to Summitracing.com and buy a high flow carsound cat. since your truck is an obd2 you need a cat.

Message: Good luck. It's a felony, punishable by a $2,500 fine. Doesn't matter if your state does emissions testing - all tampering is a federal crime.
