G'day, I would like to get some feedback on types of plug leads for my 2002 3.9L V6. Ive read alot about MSD 8.5mm, JBA 8mm, and Taylor 8mm etc. which ones do you recommend. Appreciate the comments

Well I currently use the Taylor 8mm wires, and have had no problems (knock on wood). I also use the autolite plugs with a napa cap and rotor. I would recommend these because i have used them. They ran me about $55-$60 from KRCperformance. I believe the MSD wires were about another $20, but don't know the difference. Larry might be able to help you there.

I just switched from Taylor to JBA 8mm. One of the Taylor's just went bad on me. Never had a wire crap out before. And it wasn't from removing the wire incorrectly to change plugs.

I think its Echlin, not Echmo. At least that's what mine are.

Echlin makes em, Echmo is how they're referred to on the part numbers. Some people just say MO26 and MO28 as the part numbers, but when I looked em up on the Napa site it was ECHMO26 and ECHMO28.

I thought the Napa cap & rotor were made by Borg Warner?????????. Are they different, Confusion!!!!!!!!

I heard that too, but I also heard "they are the same as the Borg Warner" which kinda says they aren't/aren't anymore.

IK've got 50K on my Taylor plug wires of which 20K has been with headers and they are still running strong.
