Message: I know this sounds a bit weird, but if you ever added water to the coolant system and the water had a hi mineral content, it is entirely possible that the minerals acted like an abrasive slurry and slowly wore away the vanes on the water pump. also collapsed hose, plugged hose, radiator might have become plugged with gunk, even though you recently replaced it.the other thing to check is, if you have an automatic transmission, is the tranny slipping at all, if so the excess heat is bled off by a heat transfer radiator in the lower part of the radiator and could cuase the water temp to rise, seen it happen on a lot of different vehicles over the years.also the viscus fan clutch could be bad, lots of things if you think about it.
