First off I would like to suggest that you do a search before someone "blows a gasket" (pun intended) because this is a repeat post. http://www.dodgedakota.net/boards/v6/6060.html
To answer your question, the most popular things are to add an air intake, K&N seems to be the brand of choice, along with a high flow exhaust (flowmaster, gibson, etc.... just a matter of preference). You can also change your plugs to Autolite 3923's and 8mm sparkplug wires, add a V8 throttle body, headers. A good site is KRCPerformance.com for most of these items. They are very friendly and will help you out. Just call them and they will point you in the right direction. Hope that helps.
