Message: I had one put on my truck last Feb. It sounded pretty good to me but u could hear it in the cab. This past Jan., I had a new cat put on and it was REAL loud especially with the big turndown I had on it. Now I have a flowmaster 40 series with turndowns. Not really sure about fuel mileage.

Message: thanks for the advice. my noise on the inside is loud too. one thing about gas though, with my 8ft bed putting the tailgate down i think saves gas.

Message: i had a custom true dual exhaust put on my 93 dak 2wd 5spd w/3.9L and dual super40 series flowmasters and do not have any cats on it, just the mufflers. i can honestly say its got to be one of the best v6's ive ever heard. only thing i would change is that i used 2 1/2 inch pipe, id go with 2 1/4 if anyone else did it, tends to pop once in a while on downshifts.
