Message: Do it yourself... you just gotta pull the tension off the belt, take the old one off and put the new one on following the diagram on the front of the engine compartment. The tension is released by "tightening" the nut on the tensioner pulley. When you move it like you're tightening it, it should move toward the driver side and release all the tension. I found it easiest to have a buddy help out so one person can hold the tensioner while you're putting the new belt on. It should take less than 15 minutes if it's your very first time.

Message: Hmm, on my 99 you loosen the pulley and it stays in the
loosened position. You then tighten the pulley back and it stays
in place again.

Message: Thanks! Either way it sounds like I can't mess it up to much. I'll give it a shot this weekend. I just went over 100000 miles and I'm thinkin it might be time to change it.
