Message: My 94 dakota's heater blower motor doesn't work. The motor will run when I run power directly to it, and all the fuses are good, but it won't run. How do I troubleshoot the blower speed control switch?

Message: Unfortunatly mine started doing the same thing. It's strange tho, because if I play with it and put the engine at high vaccume (heavy acceleration), then the blower kicks in and is strong. I talked to a dodge service guy and he said it was a vaccuume problem with the dash control panel. Only problem is that it's one piece and all the controls come out as one piece. Of course the piece is dealer only and around $230. Needless to say, I'm going to live with crappy AC for a few more months.
