 Subject: Pirelli Scorpion Tires

Need to replace my tires on my Dakota. I have the 255-65-16 and they are a pain to find a replacement. I have been looking at the Pirelli Scorpions. I was wondering if any of you have any experience with these tires and what do you think? Tire Rack says that they are a pretty good tire, but I though I would find out your opininions.

From what I hear, they are good tires also. Im getting ready to get a set of 32". Im excited. I should be getting them in the next few weeks. I will let you know when I get them.

I bought my 97 last summer with a pair of well warn Pirelli Scorpion ST. Made it through an upstate NY winter with no problem. Love how they perform but don't look truck like enough for me.

I put Pirelli Scorpions on my Dakota last summer and they seemed to handle pretty good this past winter. If you do not have a dealer around you, I was able to order mine thru my local Sears.

Put the new tires on today. WOW, what a difference. Couldn't beleive how much quieter the cab was, and how smooth the ride was. I was under the assumption that the stock goodyears were a good tire. I guess time will tell on these pirelli's.
