 Subject: What size TB??

Does anyone know what size TB my '00 3.9L has? It is a early '00 truck built in 9/99 was told it has a 99 style motor.(w/ cap & rotor not coil packs does that sound right?? ) anyway is there a easy way to tell if I have a 42mm,44mm, 46mm TB?

If I had a metric ruler I check it myself, but I don't. 48mm that seems big, I thought that they were in the 42-46mm range. I just thought that someone would know off hand or could direct me to the info.

Use whatever ruler you have and convert:
1 inch = 25.4 mm

The Tb size is not 48mm, that is for a V8 not V6. The TB size is in the 42-26mm range. Maybe contact your local dealer and ask them.

I said to use the ruler because it could be 42, 44, or 46. The year doesn't matter, every truck just got one. Some were luckier than others.
