Message:
I need to clean the IAC on my 95 3.9 cc. I've seen post that say don't twist or pull very hard on the IAC, or it may damage. Without meaning to sound like a smarta--, how do you get it off the throttlebody without pulling or twisting? Is there a place on the inside of the TB to push the unit out? Please help.

Well I don't know about on a 95... but on my 97 there are 2 mounting screws that hold it in place... then it just comes right off. That is mine though... someone correct me if i am wrong

Back of throttle body 2 #20 or 25 torx

Not removing after its out do not push pull or
twist on the plunger also check the seat that it
closes on for carbon build up

spray with carb cleaner and whipe dry gently put
a little oil on the o ring and reinstal

The plunger moves back and forth off the seat to
maintain the corect idle speed by controling
the air into the intake while plates are closed

IAC idle air control
