i have a 98 dodge dakota slt 3.9l i just put a 50 series flowmaster on it last week and to day i was going to the gas station right before i turned into the gas station i saw in my rear view merrior a white 02 extreme going fast so then i just went straight passing tha gas station and right as he was about to pass me i floored it we were right next to each other 4 a litle bit then he was almost a full carlength behind

man i no for sertain my 3.9l v6 98 dakota with a k&n cold air intake and a 50 series flowmaster can out run a 4.3l s-10 because my friend has one we race i passed him before i hit 75mph

I have a 03extreme I never raced one but I guess wy waist my gas on something I know I can beat because theres know dakota I dont care what size motor u got that can come close to my extreme.

is a suspension kit and a body kit. go ask your
piece of sh*t chevy dealer and he will tell you

buy yourself a 3.9l dakota. also why are you on

I think a stock 4.3L with a good driver will kill a stock/mildly modified 3.9L with a good driver about 98% of the time (depending on other factors such as tranny, gears, etc)...don't get me wrong, I love dakotas and all, however, I know they aren't speed demons, but I'll be damned if they aren't the best looking small/midsize pickup trucks out there! =D

the only thing i have done to my dak is k&n
filter, 40 series flows, 2 in chrome tips, 180
thermostat, and a V-8 throttle body which didnt
help much by the way. besides that i have a
few modifications to the outside of my truck.
thats it.

Josh can you check IP's on here to see if it's just him reposting? Anyway, Justin also stated on the s10forum that his 3.9 runs an 11.6 in the 1/4 with a slow reaction time, like reaction time plays a role in E.T. oh and his K&N with his 50 series flowie (which are known for being very effective with stock exhaust piping) makes his 3.9 push 210HP. Just so you guys know, I don't have anything against Daks, my bro has a 92 w/ the 3.9, auto, and 210,xxx miles- surprisingly it runs ok and hasn't died yet. Or puked a tranny, crazyness eh?
PS- it's Xtreme not Extreme- just FYI.
