Message: Get a new grommet at any autoparts store. They are in the aisle where all those "HELP!" replacement parts are like trim screws and panel clips. Take your old one with you.

Message: u replace the pcv valve b/c it causes oil pressure to increase and it can cause your rear main seal to go or cause other costly problems if it goes unchecked for a long time. my friend just had to put a new rear main oil seal in his ranger. we took out the pcv valve and it was burnt looking. from what we could tell, it looked like the factory valve and the truck was an 87 model.

Message: Yeah , we all know about fords !!
Anyway , pcv needs to work properly to let a
predetermined amount of air in to the intake.
If it gets plugged , may have idle problems
and mpg will go down..
