Subject: truck studders in quick acceleration IP: Logged
Message: hey, i have an essentially stock 94 dakota reg cab, with the only "mods" being a black dee zee truck box, and a sub and amp behind the seat. anyways, something that has been annoying the whole time that i have had my truck- since july of last year- i got it with perhaps 107k miles, now have 115k miles- is when i floor the pedal or close to it, to try to accelerate quickly- from rest- the truck "studders"/shudders, almost as if it is like stuck on something...thats really bad at explaining what happens, but anyways, other than that, i can accelerate semi-quickly from 20-70 mph. so because of this annoying problem, i have to ease off the pedal, or at least not floor it when im starting from rest, then i can push the pedal down harder. anybody have this problem? i have new tires, new muffler, new egr valve, and new spark plugs. is it a transmission problem?
thanks

Message: whoa,
easy there tiger..sorry if i ruined your day by accidentally saying "studder" instead of "stutter", i dont think this is as big of a deal as saying "sight" instead of "site". my verbal skills are alot better than you think- i scored 1360 on the sat smart ass. 710 math, 650 verbal. so why dont you keep your piehole shut. nobody appreciates your smart-ass comments. my school education is probably better than yours, and by the way, through 2.75 years of school, i have a 4.0 gpa, and thats with honors math and english classes. enough said.

Message: Don't you love it when acrimonious acerbic critics point out the most trivial discrepencies in one's spelling? These people must find great joy in attempting to belittle anyone they find convenient. With great alacrity they endeavor in great vain to deride and ridicule others that had good intentions but somehow made some minor mistake. I'm alarmed at the callowness and belligerent attitude of critics such as these; if they don't have anything nice to say, then they shouldn't say anything. Have some manners, son. I pity the fool (ignorant fool as such.)

Oh no, is the world coming to an end? Will the earth stop rotating about its axis? Who cares if I spell "alot" instead of "a lot"! I have written many essays, and the majority of them have been with high marks (aka, or i.e. "A"). What do you want me to do? Go cry in my bed because I made the most egregious mistake in all of humankind's history? Did I commit the sin of humanity? I sure hope not. Why are there people so critical and condescending; do they not have anything better to do? Do they try to boost their ego at the "blow" of somebody else's ego? Please, I repeat for those that have short-term memory: "IF YOU DONT HAVE ANYTHING NICE TO SAY, DONT SAY IT. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE CRITICIZING THE MOST BANAL TRIVIAL OF THINGS. I DID DO HOOK ON PHONICS, AND ALL MY SCHOLASTIC APTITUDE TESTS PROVE THEY WERE TO GOOD USE. I SCORED 95th PERCENTILE ON THE ACT. PLEASE JUST SHUT UP. IM NOT AN IDIOT.

Message: Actually I understood what you meant when you said STUDDERS and would have offered any solution to the problem if I had one.
Then "uhm" tried to make himself feel better by belittling your typing ability, NOT your "spelling".
Still not a problem because "uhm" is the one making a fool of himself, until you become all defensive. Next thing you know a war has started.
Hope you find a solution to for the truck.

Message: I apologize, canada, for overreacting.
"Uhm"-
Why do you think I put studder in quotation marks- I'll tell you why- I purposely put them in quotation marks- heres a quote- 'the truck "studders"/shudders'- because I wasn't totally sure that studder in fact was a word- which is why I put it in quotation marks, and put a slash- "/" and said a SYNONYM, which is what I was truly meaning to say- "shudder"- which is a word, even you didn't know, i.e. "the airplane shuddered in the turbulance."

Message: no sweat
My vocab is different from "proper" english and I was always corrected by my father as he was an english teacher. Then I earned an english degree and started to correct him and the game goes on within the family and now my own family.
I grew up on the East coast and now live on the west coast of Canada and have to adapt to their dialect and vocab.
example: The box of the truck is no longer the "pan" and the cover in the box is a canopy or topper not a "cap"
Oh well
My 94 ex cab 2wd used to shake at idle and was noticed in the steering column as if a hollow plastic box was vibrating or striking a solid portion of the truck. I haven't noticed anymore but recall recent conversations of the streering box being loose.
