but not really any certain RPM range tough. When the truck shifts into 3rd it just seems to loose power. But if I stomp on it it will shift back into second and pick back up. I guess you could say it would actually be in the 1500 to 2000 RPM range. What can I do to gain something here?

sounds like possible TPS problem
at idle position, ( running or not )
with key on should read 0.7 optimum
may read 0.3 to 1.0
then should increase smoothly to close around
4.0 @ W.O.T.
Do you have any mods ??

I have a few mods. Like cold air intake. I relocated the IAT sensor. I modded my throttle body.
Today I adjusted me throttle cable and I think that that may have taken care of it. But when I did I now have a code from something. If soemone could please tell me what this code be. I thought that it was the IAT sensor cause I had to unplug it to get to the trottle cable. And while it was disconnected I tried to check the voltage of the TPS but I can't do it with an analog meter. I will get me a digital one on Monday to check it, So that may have thrown the code because it did no get a signal from that.

If it was after you tried checking the voltage on the tps, that's what threw the code. Anytime you check the voltage on the tps (and maybe other sensors?) it'll throw a code.
