Subject: flowmaster 40 series muffler v6 IP: Logged
Message: What do you guys think about keeping all stock up until the muffler. put a new 40 series on the bad boy have it come in single out dule a few inches and then have the pipes dump before the rear wheels?? legal??? more horse power???? louder????

i did that at one point, but only used one tip. It sounds really good with the tailpipe. The 40 series starts to sound nasty when you dont have a tailpipe on it at all.

hp = yes , but could lose low end torque
Noisier = Yes
result = Lots of Noise , poor off line
possible increase in highway towing capability ??

just changing your muffler wont do that.
