Subject: Groaning/rubbing noise. Rear brake? IP: Logged
Message: '03 Dak, 3.9, 3.55 rear.
After driving awhile and getting the engine and brakes warmed up then parking for around 10-15 minutes I'm getting a noise at the right rear wheel when I put the trans. in reverse. Sounds like a groan or something rubbing.
Dosen't happen when cold, like in the morn after sitting all night. Only when warmed up and it happens every time I do the above.
It's just a short burp but annoying all the same.
Any ideas?

Message: Disc brakes on the rear. The rotors rust up a little at night but thats not the problem. The noise starts after the brakes have been used and the rotors are good and shiny.
No noise or vibration when braking so I don't think its a warped rotor. The burp is only heard when going into reverse after everything is warmed up and then left sitting for around 5-10 minutes.
