Message: the clips were the same and no i didnt put greas on the pads i had a friend thet trid to grease the bleader valve on his truck that was funny
and if you know what i ment why bother postin something that does nothing to help any one people are alowed to have brain farts

Message: i wasn't poking fun. every pad change i have done, i put the high temp silicone grease on the backing plates of the pads. i have yet to have any squeak on me. try it.

Message: it's all good. i know what you mean. O'Rielly's or A/Z should have little packs of that grease i'm talking about for .99. i just did the brakes on my boys saturn and i got everything @ O'Rielly's. whoever did the saturn before put regular silicone sealant on the back of the pads!

Message: so what you are really saying is you allow them to rip you every set you buy! The part of the brake that usually squeeks is the interface between the pad and the disk! ie hard pads and hard disks cause squeeking not the piston/backing plate, Hey P.T. you got another one comin to see you!
I've never known a ASE certified mechanic do that !!
