2?'s. Which is the better quality muffler- (22" Body, 2-1/2" C/O at $74.77= Magnaflow) or a (70 series Flowmaster at $99.)? And which has the better sound as far as being close to stock? any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I have the 70 series flowmaster on my 97 3.9 dak. It's slightly louder than stock but has a nice deep rumble at idle. Even when you accelerate hard it's still not real loud. I like it because it doesn't draw alot of attention from law enforcement. My son has a 92 dak 3.9 with a 40 series flowmaster on his truck, it makes his truck sound like a v8, but makes way too much noise in cab. His truck has many miles and about due for an engine replacement soon.

I guess 70 it is. I must have read through 100 past posts about mufflers and dont want to do this but 1 time. The magna was $25 cheaper but I want as close to stock as possible. Thanks for the help guys. And Larry you have definately renewed my hope for this 3.9.
