Message: I would say more like 5 to 10hp and 10 to 15 Tq
will improve throttle response and gas mileage
more than any thing
Gap the AP's at .045
The fastman will add anywhere from 15 to 18hp
at the wheels with gains accros the board starting
right off idle.
The gains the fastman offer will be noticeable as
soon as you bolt it on and improve starting at
50 miles and should be fully tuned in by 200 miles
Either the fastman or the F&B are great choices
and an excellent upgrade over stock
Once the intake side is improved you will see more
gains from the low restriction exhaust
What to shoot for is
cold air
the throttle body
1.7 rockers
I am going to try the harland sharp rockers myself
a great way to go for the average Dak owner just
bolt them in and away you go no adjustment nessasary
With all the bolt on mods and a little fine
tunning we are seeing rear wheel hp's from
160 to 175 starting from an average rear wheel
of 100hp, the stock trucks dyno anywhere from
80 to 120 hp
I just ran a dyno on my 92 motor with all the mods
and got 161hp
Tazzy is sitting at 156 with his, now on his truck
with just a few more little things done would
probably close on 175, no 2 trucks are the same
and some will make more power than others and
tazzy has one of the better ones
