Message: I just put in a new set of AP3923 the single Platuims and i gap them to .04. But when i check the stock plugs they were gaped at over .05 and they 30,000 on them and they were a nice tan color not to bad looking. I'm just wounder if i should pull the plugs and regap them. also i have a K&N cold air intake. and i plan to change to better plug wires and cap and rotor soon. what should i do.

Message: go .045 and than see how they look
They run good anywhere from .040 to .050
Napa MO26 and MO28 cap and rotor have solid brass
incerts and will transfer more volts to the plugs
around $15
Taylor 8mm or MSD 8.5 are both good wire choices
and have less resistance per foot than stock 7mm
and will also carrie more volts to the plugs
I have been installing the cap rotor plugs and
wires as a tune up at .045 and all have been
running well the increased voltage to the plugs
makes them run a hotter spark and they run well
in stock motors on most trucks
Very few trucks react unfaverably to this
