 Subject: Anyone Ported heads on a V6?

Has anyone ported their heads on a V6? I have a 1993 V6 and am getting a bigger cam from KRC. Is the porting worth it on the V6? The max RPM on I'll be running is 6000 RPM.

I had my heads ported and polished on my '93 when I rebuilt the engine 2 years ago, don't know how much it helped because I did all the internals at the same time.

Yes But
Porting is for high end flow,
The magnum heads are a good design but on the V6
you can only take it so far than your low end
begains to drop off.
Just a good cleanup and polish is all you need
and gasket match the intake and heads unless you
plan on running a turbo S/C or lots of nitrious
than the increased flow would be what your looking
for.
