alright i know this topic has been brought up a million and one times but i want a new TB for my 2001 3.9 I have a few other minor mods. i dont know if i should spend alot and get the F&B ported TB, of just do the spedtweaks conversion, or do the fastman conversion and have to put up a security deposit and mail my old TB in. Is there really any diference in these TB conversions? What kind of gain will i get? seriously? and no matter which one i get will i definitley be able to tell that this mod was done?

sorry to bring up the old topic

I can vouch for the Fastman. Really good light pedal response, definitely pulls harder, but haven't taken it to the strip yet or gotten a decent 0-60 time courtesy of tire spin.

Heard good stuff about the V8 tb's too.

I invested in a V8 conversion and I'm definately happy with the gains especially midrange performance. My choice was based on available funds; I paid $75 for the throttle body from someone on this website who had an extra V8 one and bought the cable from SpeedTweaks for $26 so total cost was about $100. Cost wise....get a V8 throttle body, good gains, inexpensive. I believe the other 2 (Fastman and F&B) might flow a little more air but you probably won't notice much more performance with your naturally aspirated dodge.

Just do it.
