this might sound stupid, but my tailgate rattle/makes a squeaking noice ever time i hit a bump. i know it doesnt seem that big of a deal but i want everything to be perfect. i do think it is very annoying like when i have the back wondow open. i cant hear it with it closed cause my dakota is very sound proof(which is awesome for the system btw!). anyone have any good ideas about making the noise go away without taking the tailgate off. i have to carry stuff in the bed for work, so the tailgate has to stay. thanks!

lube up the tale, play with it.
it will feel good. not to mention
it wont make any more noise for
a while until it wants to or
defintly needs to be lubed up

OR you can actually fix the problem by adjusting the posts in or out, up or down. Hell, that sounds like more fun than just lubing up anyway! Takes a Torx 45, make sure you know where it was positioned before you loosen it enough to move it.
