It's too bad there are so many who post who are willing to criticize instead of helping. I have been giving your problem so thought, You indicated that the truck has about 200,000 miles on it. It's possible that the distributor drive gear is wore out, it will cause the timing to jump around and possible cause the stalling symptom. With the kind of mileage you have you may need to look at getting your timing gears and chain replaced. The dak 3.9 is a pretty good engine, they can go along as long as they are maintained. If you haven't tried the O2 sensor test I suggested earlier please try it. The dak's 3.9 are especially sensitive to a bad o2 sensor. Good Luck.

When does it stall

Loss of either fuel or ign would cause a stall
or the loss of both due to voltage drop bad batt
or alt charging system

Is there a dual ballas resistor on the truck for
ign what happens is the material that holds the
resistor in breakes off and falls out and the
resistor will short to ground and stall or no
start conditions happen
