How many mpg's do you guys get? what does your trip read when you fill up? my friend's dad has a v6 dak with the 5 spd and he says he gets 250 miles per fillup, i have a 6 with the auto, and i read about 140 per fillup. Is there something wrong with my truck?? yes heavy foot may cause some but 110 miles?????

do u have a 15 gallon tank??
i just did 185 on 16 gals and that is about as bad as it gets
most i ever got on one tank was 310
best mpg was 21.5 but i only went 200 miles before i filled up
the way i drive and the way long island is laid out I get horrible milage but 110 on a whole tank is way too low

I usually get 17 in the city and 18-19 on the Highway. I can get about 270 miles on a tank, with a lot left in the tank. I have a heavy foot too, and I think you should be getting better mileage than that. What size tires you got? Maybe your trip reader is shot. Or is it digital? I dont know but that sounds odd to me.

I average around 17 MPG on the highway. I have a 2001 3.9 CC 4x4. I also have a fiberglass tonneau cover, but I haven't noticed any real difference in gas mileage. I think mine is a 22 gal. tank and I get around 250-275/ tank but there is always at least 3 or 4 gallons left, I have never put more than 20 gallons in.

I am getting 250 miles per fill up with my 02 3.9 auto, but I am still breaking in the motor (only 280 miles on the odometer).

I get around 260 - 270 per tank. I averaged 3 fillups and it came out at 16mpg. I mainly drive in town with a heavy foot naturaly. I have a 00 3.9 dakota ext sport+ auto

Next ? what rearend ratio? Mine is the 3.21 and on the hway I usually avg about 21 to 23 with tonneau cover

My gauge is shot, so I try to fill up a short ways after 200 miles, at which point it's generally a gallon or so less than half a tank. That's with the 22-gallon and 3.21 rearend stick.

When I fillup pump reads about 11. gals, my trip is digital, I have the 15s, um, don't really know about any other factors

I put about 18 gallons of gas in my truck every 180 miles. I have the 22 gallon tank, but I don't want to run out. That comes out to be 10 miles per gallon -- that could be driving around town, hammering on the gas, or cruising along at 65 -- my truck is an equal-oppurtunity-gas-burner.
I have 265/70/16 tires.

I can take it about 400 miles with about a gallon left till the next gas station.
If i was getting 10 I would get a different truck...
