Is the front swaybar off and r/t bigger than the one on my v6. do the r/t and the normal v8 dakota have the same size swaybar or is the r/t bigger.

RT's and Sports model trucks have a 30mm sway bar. The regular sway bar is 28mm V8 or V6. Good luck.

2 mm = .078 or just about 5/64 of an inch for the metricly challenged
