Are you sure its not timing chain rattle
Bend down in front of the truck while idleing
like your going to look under the truck and see
if you can hear it.
New chain with tensioner needed to fix this noise
If the lifters are ticking you can try some
marvel mystery oil or CD2 also made by the
turttle wax company and it does help quit them
down on some trucks, if that don't do it replace
them $114 lifters, $35 intake gasket and replace
plenium gaskit $10 plus your labor easy to replace
and while the intake is off gasket match the port
but leave internaly the same, gives good low end
gains with mid and top end benifits as well
Takes about 2 to 3 hours to match them. the gains
are well worth the time spent.

Message: just the opposite the gasket does not cover any of the port.
