Hello,
I am posting this for my Dad. He has a 95 Dakota SLT 4x4 Club Cab 3.9L-A/T. The truck has 140k miles and hasn't really given him any major problems other than a tranny that went at 96k miles under warranty. The truck is pretty weak (power wise). I told him when he bought it to get the Magnum v8, but he didn't listen.
I was just wondering if getting one of those K&N FIPK has made a difference with anyone else's "stock" 94-96 3.9L Dakota. The kit is only $115... just wondering if he will gain any power or mpg. He tows a small pop-up so any power we can find would help.
Are there any replacement mufflers that will also help? (Just muffler, I know he wouldn't go for a full exhaust)
