Message: hey i have a 1999 3.9l dakota and i want to put an exhaust on it. i was planing on putting on a 50 suv 2.5 in and 2.25 out with 3' tips. or a 50 delta flow 2.5 in and 2 out with 3' tips. my main consern is how much low end power am i going to lose, because with a v6 you don't want to lose any low end power. and also will i lose any power if i go to a high flow cat. just tell me what you would do and what will give me the best performance and also how they sound compair to each other.

Message: No a high flow cat will actualy help
They flow better but still keep the o2 sensor
at the desiered temps to maintain a good Air/Fuel
ratio
as long as you go with the 2.25 tails you will be
fine 2 is just a little to small 2.25 just right
I am asuming your talking duels here if not you
need to go with a 2.5 single tail
Once you improve the intake side cold air and a
bigger throttle body you will notice some nice
gains with the exhaust it will remain about the
same some power and mileage improvements with
stock intake.
