lol, its called static electricity.

Try not to scooot out of your seat as much. I usually let my leg come in contact with the cab right after it hits the ground.

This method it far less pain full then getting shocked while shutting the door.

If you cant master that method, tap the door with your knuckles before placing your hand on it to shut it.

hope that helps lol

thats exactly what i was going to say sic. i rest my leg aginst the bottom of the door sill or just touch the torx screw by the armrest while standing...
i thought it was just me getting zapped lol....

another idea, just shut the door by pushing on the black plastic door handle.... i will try that later, i'm sure it will work.

hold onto the metal of the door during the entire "getting out" process. this way you're grounded from the start and won't feel it.

or the leg thing if the sill isn't too dirty.

once you get used to grounding yourself it becomes habit.

lol

The static is comming from you rubbing your pants on the seat. You could also do one of three things...

Cover you seats

treat your seats (scotchguard or such)

dont wear pants (not legal in most states) My seats are quite soft... Most enjoyable :-)

Enjoy

close the door by pushing on the glass to close it. this, however, will only delay it, as you will get zapped on the next large metal thing you touch ;)

Another option is to buy static gaurd and spray it on your seats and floor mats. I no longer get shocked, you do need to re-apply from time to time.

WHAT?? women wearing skirts is illegal???? most wear them when they "dont wear pants (not legal in most states)" , that also depends on if they are with me and if I decided to get "lucky"
