Just got a 2000 Dak 4x4 with a 3.9 in it. Want more power.
Would a different chip give it more performance and make the tranny shift better? If so, where can I get one and how much? (cdn$)

I have found that not only is a chip expensive but does
not give you much, Instead try to get rid of the catalic
converter and put in a large exhaust system with
headers.

For a 2000 3.9 V6 dak you need a Superchips programer sold at speedshops every where - $320 to $370

Don't remove cat , or you will not pass emission
test.
check some of the posts here re cold air in
and mufflers / headers , also other mods to
improve , I.E. throttle body
