i have the 3.9 in my Dak and i really really want a K&N FIPK for it but can find one for my truck, do they even make one? If they make one for the 5.2 will it fit on a 3.9? I have a freind who had a 96 Dak? with the 318 and he took my intake hat off (the part on top of the TB) to see if i will fit his truck, and it did. SO i figured that a 5.2 intake might fit a 3.9 whew.......anyone? ty

yes i just made my own intake by taking a 45degree plastic elbow and connecting a 2ft long aluminum tube that i got from a k&n guy who gave me a deal 25$ and it fit in the perfect place(behind the light where the air comes in)

cool....but i want to know if a 5.2 intake will fit a 3.9 there the same engine just one has two moew cylinders that the other.

They also sell a deffernt brand, Volant, for 3.9, but 2000 year. They have pictures. You might want to check it out.

the 5.9/5.2 version will fit on the 3.9, just make sure the years are matched cause it matters.
