Message: I've got a '00 3.9L/Auto Dakota and have a problem with the tranny slipping while it's cold. I start and hit about 15 (just into 2nd gear) and then stop for a light everyday I leave work. When I go again, the truck stays in 2nd for about 3-5 seconds unless I maually shift into 1st. Any ideas why it does this? I want to be sure my tranny's OK before I go 3000 miles to florida w/a trailer. Thanks

Message: Sounds like the 1-2 aclumulator is hanging up
First thing to do is change fluid and filter
6 Qts filter autozone around $10
USE ONLY Chrysler ATF+4 or Amsoil universal syn
don't use any other fluids and no additives
