Well, I've stumped another mechanic, although, he seems to think it's running lean! I think he's a fool, you can smell gas whe the engine "floods". Anyhow, the started finally died and was broken, one of the eye holes to anchor it had completely broken off. And the new starter has done the same crunching thing once. I honestly think the truck is just going to die, I have three mechanics that want me call them when I get this whole thing resolved.
By the way, now that the weather is warmer, I see that the problem has no it has no relation to the temperature, it just runs like crap. Although it hasn't stalled since my last post.. maybe even a little longer.
Thank you Mark, Vern, J and J, Diane... I know this has been a real pain in the ass to try and make sense of my ramblings over the internet. I appreciate all your help. Should I ever get to the bottom of this I will definately let you all know the answer.
