i was wondering if the throttle body from a 5.9 would fit my v6. i see all these people doing a v8 conversion but is it with the 5.2 or 5.9 throttle body? also do you need the throttle cable or will ours work? thanks in advance

im not sure what size the 5.9 is, but krc performance sez that to go over 48mm will probabily kill any torque you have made before. just a little info... Steve

Yes that is true over 48mm
However the V8 bodies have 50mm plates and a 48mm
step and work fine on the V6 just bolt on as is
5.2 and 5.9 same 48mm step body
Low end will remain about the same with mid and
top end gains that are noticeable 15 to 18 hp is
an average gain at the wheels
The fastman and F&B also offer low end gains
The cable depends on what your truck has now and
is not to hard to change $34 new at the dealer
just get for same year dak 5.2
