Message: Hey people, new to the forum - just got a 2000 Dak Club Cab 4x4 with a 3.9 with 70,000k. I'm lovin' it and this website is cool. Does anyone notice a bit of a shudder in the truck just before taking off or coming to a stop? Is this normal or can it be fixed? Other than that the truck runs great.
Thanks.

Message: Possibly may be a warped brake rotor on the front or rear (if you have rear wheel disc brakes)... then again it could be a number of things
- brake rotor warped
- loose or out of balance wheel
- loose or out of balance driveshaft
- worn u-joints
- use your imagination, if it moves, it can vibrate and cause a shudder usually....

Message: Inner CV joints, or a torque convertor can also cause it. A good mechanic could probably tell you what it is just by driving it.
