Hey everyone. I am looking at getting some nice aftermarked rims for my 97 Dakota. I am having a tough time finding any on the internet with the bolt pattern of 6 x 4.5. Does anyone know where a good place to get some rims is? I'm looking for rims around 18" and up. Also, If I get a rim that big, will that fit in my well? My guess is yes.. .i will just have to get a lower profile tire correct? Thanks!!

Try discounttiredirect.com they got wheel and tire combo's and free shipping.Fitment is depending on your suspension..unless its drastic..yes 18's will fit as well as 20's...with about a 35 or 40 series tire...

I have seen 18's and I have seen 20's on Dakotas and they will fit unless the suspension is drastic, but 18's look a whole lot better. 20's look just too big. It doesn't fit the truck. I found a site online, though, that has some really good rims for a really good price. (800-1000 for a set of 4) I forgot what the site was though, but I will get back to you with the site.

Get some viper rims. They use the same 6 bolt pattern and look
bad ass.

Yeah they are awesome looking. But I dont think that having Viper Rims would look that good because I wouldnt want to have a Viper logo on my DAKOTA. But they are awesome rims.

You don't have to get the ones with the logo. There are other
options I think. Also, if you are searching for new rims you can
just look for Viper rims since they will fit. That'll give you more
options than just looking for dakota rims.

Hey guys, I am back! This is the website I was talkin about earlier!

They have some really good rims. They also have some really crappy ones also. The are usually about 800-1000 for a set of four. And the sizes range from 16-20", so there is a good selection. This is probably where I will get my rims.

ok i have a 2000 dakota 4x4 4.7 V8, and i have searched and searched for some deep dish simple rims, all i can find is street rims and thats not what im looking for, i just want some simple 15-16 inch rims.. can anyone help? those sites didnt have anything.. also, any tips on getting more HP i already have flowmaster exhaust and cold air. i wanna cut the muffler and do straights, will that hurt the engine?
