Subject: AX15 5SPEED TRANSMISSION???
IP: Logged

Message:
Due to money issues, I'm just going to go ahead and do all of the work to my engine to add a little performance... Not much but enough I think for now... So a while back I know someone on here mentioned that Dodge was going to be offering a steel syncro replacement for the ax15 transmission over just the junk sticking brass gear grinding ones... Anyone on here know the p/n to the steel syncro kit or if they even have them available yet??? To yall who will reply,

Thanks,
Greg

I was wondering this because my syncro's up through 3rd are, or rather were when I pulled it in the shop for the engine work, GONE!!! I know the ax15's are a great stought tranny, but the blasted brass dodge syncros that are in it, are well, just plain junk come the colder times of the year, so I was thinking while it was up on the lift for the lsd changeover, I'de pull the tranny, rebuild it with the new steel syncro kit, bearings and the ussual what nots, while I had it in the shop for the other work... So if anyone knows, I will greatly appreciate it!!!

Greg
