Subject: BERND, IAT adj causes fault! IP: Logged
Message: I bought the adjuster a couple of months ago and installed it. Up to this point I hav not had to use it due to cold weather. It is wired as per your instructions (two whites to the sensor harness, two blacks to the PCM). I also installed a new aftermarket Iat sensor. I moved the sensor to the intake as well. As long as I run off of the sensor it will not give me a light. I turn the Ignition off, turn the adj on (12:00) and start the truck, light stays on. What do you suggest?
Its a GenII 3.9

Message: I don't see the point of relocating your sensor into your intake, AND getting an IAT switch. Kinda defeats the purpose. Should have just left the sensor. My opinion.

Message: The reason I did this was because I am in Sicily about 80 miles from South Africa. It gets hot hot hot, and the air even in the intake is 110deg+ in the summer. The adjuster I think is a necessary mod.
