My EGR went bad on my 93 Dodge Dakota 3.9 throttle body injected v6. I plugged the lines and ran it till I could get the part. It ran worse and worse. No power on hills etc. The morning I was to put the new EGR on it wouldn't run at all. It idled very horribly at about 500 rpm and shortly died everytime. I put on the new EGR and nothing changed. Did I wreck something by running it without the EGR for a few days? Help

Try re-setting the computer by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. No promises, but worth a shot.
