I had enough. That stock air box was ugly and crappy.

Went to automotive warehouse, and picked up a Ractive cone filter for $35 w/ tax. Regular price is $50 plus tax.

It runs SWEET!!! I can REALLY tell the difference... but right now I'm using plastic tubing, I'm waiting for an exhaust pipe to replace it...

I'm almost done my future mods list... t'stat coming soon, clears on the way, TPS being done this weekend... then I'm finished...

For the Canadians: I priced a DynoMax thru Speedy, and he quoted me $100. Good price?!?! And why are they only a 1-year warranty?

I went to kragen and bought the 9" cone filter and 3" stainless steel pipe from a store in town. Then I went to home depot in the plumbing section and got a 90 degree elbow and a coupling with the screw clamps.
After that I just cut the pipe to size and installed it to the top hat. Total cost for parts, about $70.

Magnaflow and dynomax comes with a lifetime warranty, so when your muffler craps out you can go get a new one, easy as pie!
