hey bernd,
just wanted to let you know that i just got the TB in (at about 11:30am)........fastest delivery i ever heard of!
I saw the little "half moon" type cuts under each port......pretty crazy looking....does that cause some sort of pressure or something?
I will let you know how everything goes....need to go put it on now!

He's got my old Magnum Performance SB-250 "V6 Special" that I had custom built for my truck back in late '97.
Those cuts modify the MAP signal slightly and add a bit more fuel under off-idle throttle (drops the MAP signal quicker). It's pretty "torquey" but didn't work well with my S/C setup. Let me know what kind of numbers you come out with. :)

bernd...i broke 2 torx drivers trying to take those d@mn sensor off!!
that is one need looking throttle body....i like the way the blade mounts were cut down!

Yeah, did you notice the blades as well? (Look closely at the edges of them.)

yeah, the whole blade is messed up and you flattened the blade mounts and the screws.....awesome.....bernd...i love you man.
how did you think to do all of that to the TB...
like the little cuts under the ports?

The blades aren't messed up...they're thinned and have an edge on them. The cuts are the patent that Magnum Performance holds on the throttle body modifications. (Wasn't my idea)
Lesley, yes...that's the $980 (to be exact) TB that I purchased three years ago. It's a pretty torquey throttle body but it was the only one available at the time for the V6.
