 Subject: another supercharger question

I have a 2000 Dakota rc, 3.9L with the HD 5 spd. I've been reading a lot about superchargers and have read that the superchargers for the 5.2/5.9L will fit the 3.9L. My question is, What kit do I buy? Do I buy the kit for the 1996-1999 5.2/5.9L Dakota or Do I buy the kit for the 2000-2001 5.2/5.9 Dakota? I plan on getting the powerdyne kit through summit or jegs. what modifications are needed and how hard are they. I'm pretty mechanicly inclined, If thats a bonus. Thanks

WOW!! thanks tazzy, I appreciate the help. I'm buying the kit as soon as summer hits. nice picture too. One more question, do these types of blowers produce the whining noice like big block blowers? If not thats cool too, it'll be fast.

those s/c make noise... but not like a blower.
i had one on my 3.9. it was pretty crappy. Really noisy and not much go.
